I made myself a new long sleeve shirt for biking:

it’s slightly longer in the back

and has really long sleeves with a hole for my thumb. Buyable long sleeves never have long enough sleeves for me to use the thumb holes

I sewed it with a loose turtleneck so my neck will be warm and relaxed.

its one of my fabric designs printed on spoonflowers performance pique, which has this really cool relaxed feel on the skin. (the design is now a little smaller than on the picture, this bigger pepita was actually an error on my side, that’s why I used it for this text-sew). I used a self-drafted pattern for this.

I can actually fold the cuffs and just wear it like a normal long sleeve.

Well, I look forward to wearing this for my next long bike ride, I think it will be quite comfy. And it turned out better then I thought.
