my new potter’s wheel

Moin,

I have spent eight weeks in a hospital to treat my depression, and part of the therapy was art: In this case, drawing, painting, or pottery. Since drawing was part of my training for fashion design, I just drew pretty things but nothing personal. That changed when they gave me clay to express myself. Back home I am trying to keep up the habit. For ideas I will use the doodle-a-day-Challenge Spoonflower hosted in January 2023.Maybe you can remember me doodling  along in 2022.

Well, over a month has passed while trying to get back to weekly clay work. Sorry I kept you waiting. I hope you all had a wonderful christmas and a good start into the new year.

I got a simple potter’s wheel for christmas. It does not have an engine, you can only turn it by hand, but for my tries at sculpting it is perfect.

I am trying to find a catchy name for the blogging series about my adventures with clay and sculpting. What do you think:

Any other ideas? Looking forward to your suggestions!!

Do you have any ideas for new assignments? I want to keep this up, but I am not sure, what to create. I will start a  list with your ideas, which I will be working on after I finished the 31 projects of this list. I look forward to your suggestions!
