Heyhey,

as some of you might read (on twitter or facebook) I travelled to berlin to buy buttons and yes that totally makes sense. 😉 Let me explain you why: there is a big flea market every weekend at Straße des 17. Juni  and there is one woman who sells buttons and ribbons and zippers and such. I dont know how it is in other countries but in Germany are buttons quite expensive mostly in between 1 and 3 €, well at that flea market you pay 1€ for 2 to 6 buttons, or even more. So that is why I travel so far to buy buttons, because it pays off in the end 😉 well I took a pic at the flea market:

see that? all those boxes are full of buttons, its great

and when I took this pictures my mum came looking (staying at hers when in berlin) and went for the case she has her sewing stuff in and gave me all the buttons she had more then one of:

so I’ld say the trip totally was worth it 😉
