open studios weekend

Heyhey,

so open studios weekend came and went… sadly there were only a few people walking around looking into the studios, the same with mine. I did prepare way to much handbags for workshops. 2 kids made their own handbags today, which was a lot of fun, but they were the only ones who did. Some people liked my things, I normally sell on etsy. Some liked the idea of sewing classes, but nobody signed up. So the weekend was a little disappointing, but maybe all people who said they were interested really will sign up for classes in january, wish me luck;)

This is how I decorated my studio for open studios weekend:

I hope you all had a great weekend!

  1. It takes time to build a following. so, In January, after the crazed holiday season, follow up with those who expressed an interest, and hang in there – keep publicizing the studio and hosting similar events, it will catch on. In fact, I wish I lived near you as your classes would be great!

  2. Studio looks great! I congratulate you for its opening. It is a big step you made and I am sure success will knock your door in no time. Just keep the good work as you did by now 🙂
    Wishing you best of luck!
