what should I do for beginner tutorials?

Heyhey,

so when I thought about this weeks beginner tutorial I got stuck. I just did not know what I should do, so I wanted to ask for your opinions.

Do you want tutorials for simple projects, with mostly straight seams, so you have something to show?

Do you want tutorials for simple projects with also some more difficult seams?

Do you want tutorials for parts of projects, like: how to do french seams/bias binding/inserting a zipper/add pockets/and others like this?

Do you want other tutorials?

Please vote in the poll below and also leave a comment, with a wishes/ideas for special tutorials. What did you always wanted to know how to do?

You can vote for more then just 1, if you would like 2 versions best, or even all three, you are also very welcome to write down any other possibility that I did not think of.

Thank you all in advance for your opinions!

  1. I’d like to see something like making your own piping, and maybe some binding or something. I like the technical things that no one else explains πŸ™‚ Thanks for asking!

      • Thank you πŸ™‚ I always like to see new things cause everyone has their way of doing things!

      • And I know zero πŸ™‚ Lol. I learn something new literally everyday. Especially when I get custom orders, it seems like they always want something I haven’t done before Lol

      • well, that is a great way to learn, at least in my experience. Before I went to fashion school I already had spent 7 years at the sewing machine and I was learning by try and error. That taught me some different ways to make things, which some of my teachers did not like in fashion school… they thought the only right way is their way.

      • Lol, don’t you have that. Just because they already know how they want you to do it their way.

I love to read your comments
