Finally getting back to this series about blog posts from the past years that were important for one reason or the other. And moving on to the posts of 2016.

This is about a sweater and a slipover I sewed:

What I did not know by then, was that I would re-use that pattern many times, and it is still one of my favourite sweater patterns.

This sweater sadly only was worn a few times, because I did not wash the fabric before sewing and it shrunk when I washed the sweater. It was not too small, but it got shorter, and I did not feel that comfy in it anymore.

What do you think? Did you read this post back in 2016? Do you pre-wash all your fabrics? (I normally do, because those times I don’t, things like this happen)
