8 years ago, I started this blog, even though it went public on September 10th, 2011, I had started filling it with some background information in July. I also sewed the first project I would turn into a tutorial around that time. So I thought I would start a new blog-post-series about some first and record posts from all the years.

So let’s start with the first tutorial. It was a wide winter skirt with an elastic waistband, I actually wore a lot for some years. I especially liked it for traveling, because nothing was to tight when sitting for long. 😉

I still called them recipes then, I guess I did not learn the word tutorial yet:
