After my few first tutorials (or recipes as I still called them), I got my first tutorial wishes in 2012. I remember being totally confused when being asked for a no-pattern-tutorial for a batwing top. I never ever had thought of not using patterns before and had to do quite some research to grasp the concept.

In the end, it turned out to be my most-read tutorial of 2012. Even though I was very unsure if I understood the request correctly. I also wear it in one outfit-post:

I really liked the look of this top, but I did not wear it often. I actually do not know why. That’s probably why I kept it for some years in my wardrobe.

I often do batwing tops without a pattern with the people in my sewing classes nowadays. So I am happy now I got that request back then.
