(This is a weekly blogging series, started before I did my first weeklong bicycle tour around the little belt on the Danish Baltic Sea Bicycle Route. Now I want to do the whole Bicycle Route next year, and for that, I do some shorter tours to stay in training, study Danish, do other sports, sew some things, plan, map, buy, and worry. And blog about that every Sunday… it is an adventure already.)

As you might have guessed from my last post, I did not do much this week. Besides sleeping… and I have to admit pitying myself a little. I am an optimist at heart, but sometimes even I lose that for a few days… after those days I get annoyed with myself for it though.
What I have been thinking about this week is how to keep the training up over the winter. Because I feel like I should cycle a lot more to keep my fitness level up.
I have the problem that a stationary bicycle, that is worth training on, would take up a lot of space, I do not have, and a lot of money I want to invest in a touring bicycle instead. So I was looking for bicycle groups in my area. Because I love to use Leif to get somewhere, but I can never motivate myself to just cycle for km. But I only found professionals and all men… So now I am thinking about joining a gym for some months to use the stationary bicycle there… Nothing is decided yet, partly because January is coming soon – the busiest time in gyms probably all over the world.
I studied (again) no Danish at all this week (I definitely need to do better), did 7 mornings with 4 yoga-flows, 2 evenings training feet + stretch, 1 strength workout and cycled 25.86 km in 1:42:13 h.
keep exploring and smiling
