Heyhey,
I am just rediscovering crochet. I used to crochet a lot growing up, always made up things, never following a pattern, then I taught myself with the help of a book to knit when I was about 19 years old. Lately I seen so many nice retro crochet patterns, I got the itch to try it again. So the star-shaped crochet, was my first time following a pattern. That gave me the confidence to download one of the retro 70s crochet patterns on etsy, which I already started working on. Knitting I can do blind, thats why I haven’t been crocheting for a while, because I just love to multitask, so I hope this crochet-phase holds long enough, so I can finish a few things, before I get bored again and go back to knitting while watching movies in my free time. 😉

I taught myself knitting too but I cannot crochet. I want to learn. My mother gave me all of her supplies, but I haven’t seriously tried in a long time.
Your work is so pretty. I hope you finish the project you started and you share it with us.
Thank you. I also hope my fun with crochet stays, so I can make myself some of those pretty patterns I found on etsy. If you can knit I think learning crochet shouldn’t be to hard. after all, if you drop a stitch nothing bad will happen 😉
Crochet really is addictive:) I took it up last year after doing it a lot as a child, and the pure happiness streaming in my blood really took me off guard.
How wonderful! Maybe I will catch that addiction too 😉 As a friend said a few days ago: As long as she can remember me, I was always working on something textile related.
