how to sew… binding variation3

Heyhey,

here is the third variation of how to sew binding. I will bring you some tutorials about how to sew around curves and edges, whichever method/variation you use.

I used my prepared binding from variation1

DSCF7791First I pinned the binding folded open to the edge on the right side
DSCF7792and sewed right in the foldDSCF7793then folded it over the way it was ironedDSCF7794now I used a hand sewing needle, stitching through the stitches of the other seam on the fabric and as wide as the next stitch through the binding DSCF7796looks like this DSCF7798 all the length of the binding…
DSCF7799this way there are no visible seams on either sides.

I hope this was helpful for you. Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions left!

Stay tuned for more binding tutorials about curves and edges and tutorials about piping and ribbon.

keep sewing and smiling
