Moin
This week I decided to keep planning like I was doing the tour as planned and I am fighting with myself not to overthink it and start worrying. After all, it still is almost 2 months.
(This is a weekly blogging series, started before I did my first weeklong bicycle tour around the little belt on the Danish Baltic Sea Bicycle Route. Now I want to do the whole Bicycle Route next year, and for that, I do some shorter tours to stay in training, study Danish, do other sports, sew some things, plan, map, buy, and worry. And blog about that every Sunday… it is an adventure already.)
So I finished the dress. I made it for 2 purposes: my uncle’s wedding and the tour. I think on a longer trip it will be nice to have some clothing item to wear, that is not shammies or a pyjama. I am planning with a few low-bicycle-days. On those, I would only cycle for half a day and then maybe explore a city or just have a lazy afternoon. And then a dress would probably be comfy. That is why I made it out of performance pique, which is a very lightweight fabric, that does not crinkle. The dress weighs 212g. (I plan a fitting bolero or cardigan, just in case.) If you like the fabrics, you can find them here.

Other weekly preparations:
I studied at least 60 minutes Danish, (yay me)
did 6 mornings with 4 yoga-flows,
4 evenings training feet + stretch,
did 2 functional fitness for cyclists workouts and 1 other full-body strength workout,
went to the gym 0 times, (gym is closed)
went not to swim-training, (because there is no more swim training)
and cycled 11.33km in 45:58h with Leif and 0km in 0h with Charlotte.
keep exploring and smiling
