This week I did 2 bicycle tours… to get outside and stay sane and relaxed ;). Other than that, I am waiting – for new rules or other changes to the situation.

(This is a weekly blogging series, started before I did my first weeklong bicycle tour around the little belt on the Danish Baltic Sea Bicycle Route.  Now I want to do the whole Bicycle Route next year, and for that, I do some shorter tours to stay in training, study Danish, do other sports, sew some things, plan, map, buy, and worry. And blog about that every Sunday… it is an adventure already.)

About my first tour of the week, I already told you. The second I did yesterday, and I was feeling great, in the beginning. I was cycling to a nearby town to learn the way. As you might know, I have a tendency of getting lost the first time cycling somewhere. And I was planning to get on a train there tomorrow when I bring Charlotte to Kiel for her first check-up. That would have kept the money for train tickets down… and less time spending on trains. But when I reached the train station and was being proud of myself for finding it and getting there in an ok time, there was an announcement: The trains are not running at the moment due to construction and are replaced by busses. So I will have to take the long train ride after all. With some other bad news, this kind of ruined my mood yesterday.

But I got to test out the loading via my dynamo hub: 35 km = enough energy on my power bank to load my cellphone 55%.

When we travel to Kiel tomorrow, I will test out some addition to Buttons seat (his head is just to heavy for him with his helmet):

For now, it’s only stiff interlining with safety pins. If this keeps his head up tomorrow, I will sew a fabric cover for the interlining. 😉

Other weekly preparations:

I studied about 90 minutes Danish, (yay me)

did 5 mornings with 4 yoga-flows,

3 evenings training feet + stretch,

did 2 functional fitness for cyclists workouts and 2 other full-body strength workouts,

went to the gym 0 times, (gym is closed)

went not to swim-training, (because there is no more swim training)

and cycled 5.22km in 19:32h with Leif and 48.38km in 2:57:49h with Charlotte.
