my favorite (for now) upcycled long-sleeves

more of me going crazy with tops and long-sleeves 🙂 oh I just love the outcome, wearing one already 🙂 those are really easy to do too, and would be a good idea if one of your long-sleeves is broken somewhere maybe you can revive it by using this method to replace the broken parts. Let me know what you did or what great ideas you had on facebook, twitter, or youtube. Looking forward to it! 🙂

Recipe

Ingredients

2 long-sleeves in different colors (blue: Tally Weijl ca. 5€, red: C&A ca. 3€ both on sale)

sewing threads

pins, sewing machine and or serger, tailor shears

What you do

take your 2 long-sleeves and pin the top onto each other

pin the line you want over both garments

and cut it

now pin the top of one long-sleeve on the rest, if you want to sew it with sewing machine and zigzag put the top 1cm over the down-part

and sew it with zigzag all around, I used dark blue thread because I liked the look.

looks like this

for the sewing with the serger, pin right side on right side

and sew it with your overlock-machine

and the it looks like this.

Finished!

I just love the simple but still different look of them.

I hope you like the idea and it gives you inspiration for what you wanna do next! Questions, suggestions and ideas as always welcome!

All the best

Your TailorFairy
