so I am having some troubles with the space I have… meaning: its not enough 😉 well I guess you never have to much space. Anyhow, a friend of mine and one of my favorite books as a kid gave me an idea. 😉
When I visited my grandma as a kid she had this cute book called: trading my teddy bear for a dog. A small boy is standing in the street with that sign, of course nobody trades in his dog, but somebody offers him something else for the teddy bear, and then he tries again the next day, with the new thing he got… and so he is trading and trading until he finally gets what he wants… well I hope this wont take that long, but since I am not knitting anymore… dont ask me why, I just stopped for some reason, and I have quite a big yarn collection for years already, without touching it anymore I decided this yarns deserve a chance to be made into something pretty.
So to all those crafty people out there: I will post some of my yarn collection every wednesday, and if you like something and have a fabric laying around you probably will never use for anything, or old patterns, or buttons, I more then happy to trade with you. I am in a seventies phase, so every fabric and pattern that fits that color scheme and any pattern from that era will be most welcome. I also will be very happy about any cotton print, corduroy, fake fur and fake leather!
The rules are simple, if you like the yarn I put up and are the first to offer something for it I will swap with you! Offers can be made in the comments on facebook or twitter or by email to tailorfairy(at)yahoo.com. We will exchange addresses and send our offers around the world to the other person. This way we get gifts before christmas :).
Well this are the 3 yarns for this week:
lydia print: 100% Poly-acrylic, blueish and greenish colors, 50g=50m, needle size: 8mm, 4 balls=200g
franca from lang yarns: 35% Merino-wool, 35%Acrylic, 30%Nylon, greenish turquoise, 50g=115m, needle size: 5.5mm, 5 and an almost full ball=294g

Anyone could use that for a new project? Do you have something to trade in for it?
keep sewing and smiling and trading and knitting
