Heyhey,
so since I am still in Berlin, but cant paint my sewing studio I am running out of things to post. Really sorry about that, I didnt even take anything for drawings with me because I expected to be busy with painting and updating you about my progress. 😉
Anyhow here is a really fast and quick how to for my latest tank top:
I used the rest of the ribbed knit I had bought for this dress. It comes in a tube, so no side seams are needed. I put it flat on the table and placed a tank top on top, and drew with some seam allowance around it, then cut.
now I folded it over so the folds are in centre front and back, did the same with the tank top you use as pattern and now drew the front neckline a little deeper and the different form of the back on, with seam allowance and cut
now I closed the shoulder seams (you can sew them 2 times with straight stitching, they do not need to be elastic) and then folded all edges (neckline, arm-holes and hem) inwards and sewed them with zigzag
and its finished!
It was really fast and easy to do. I hope this was helpful for you, let me know if you have any questions!
keep sewing and smiling
