Heyhey,
sorry I am one day late, I didn’t feel to good yesterday and needed some rest. But here are the next steps for the lined jacket with hood, if you didn’t see the first parts yet you can find them here: part1 and part2.
now I sewed the darts
and with the faux fur I cut them open in the middle, just to flatten them out
then I pinned front part to side part to back part and the centre back seam
and then the shoulder seams
with the wool I did the same, but left a hole in the seam between front part and sidepart
then I sewed that closed with wide stitching
now I ironed all seam allowance apart and cut 2 rectangles of the faux fur, width: 4cm more then the hole I left and length: twice the wished pocket side (must be less then to the centre front)
now I pinned the one end to the one side of the seam allowance and sewed
then I folded it over and pinned and sewed the other end to the other seam allowance, make sure you have the faux fur inside
now I folded the bag into the front part and drew the bottom line, which needed to be above the hem and as you can see my pockets hang a little down
pinned that
and sewed top and bottom and cut the seam allowance close to the seam
now I pinned the hoods to the bodices
and the sleeves into the armholes
I hope this was helpful for you. If there are any questions left, please do not hesitate to ask.
next thursday I show you how I sewed the both parts together.
keep sewing and smiling
