how to make dungarees: pattern

Heyhey,

since I finished last week with the maxi skirt with pockets I start with the dungarees now. The how to will be up every monday.

DSCF5240I started with well fitting pants in a similar style then I was going for

DSCF5241DSCF5242I copied the front and back parts of the pant onto paper, detailed instructions on how I did that can be found here.

DSCF5243I wanted the pants to be up to the waist so I added some cm to the top

DSCF5244DSCF5245now I made them even more flared from the middle of the leg down

DSCF5249DSCF5250now I marked the middle of the lower leg and drew the grain line based on that

DSCF5251the front flap is 1/4 of the waist x length from waist to wished point

DSCF5252my pattern parts with added seam and hem allowances

DSCF5253I had the feeling they were way to flared

DSCF5254so I drew another line

DSCF5255and made them a little smaller

DSCF5256I folded the seam allowance up to see if I needed to cut it a little, so it wont be to much fabric later.

I hope this was helpful, let me know if you have any questions about it so far! Next monday I will show you how I cut the parts from the fabric.

keep sewing and smiling
