adventure preparation 103 – front pannier 2

Moin

This is where I try to keep track of different things I do in preparation for my next bicycle tours. Which is mostly training and learning Danish. Sometimes planning and buying or sewing new gear.

You can read about my last tours here: 2019, 2020summer, 2022autumn , 2022, 2023, 2024

When I got back from my last tour, I photographed what was in each bag and pannier, so today my front pannier 2:

prep103-1

This was my misc. pannier. In here I had my chair, picnic blanket, backpack, map, water bottle, action cam (I did not use it, and took it off when I was changing all those tires…), a small bottle I bought on one of the last days, a power bank, ziploks and ties.

In the orange bag was my outfit for the rest days:

And in the backpack

I had some powders for drinks, my analogue diana baby, a hat, and the stuff for dish washing.

I will pack something similar again. Even though, I am still not sure about the video cameras, I did not use them at all the last 2 tours, but I still like the idea, so I hope that was just my depression and I will probably give it another try.

The next weeks  (I am really  trying to get back on track) I will keep sharing what I had in my panniers, what I used, what not, what I will replace or add for the next tour, and what I will leave home next time. Do you have special requests, interests, wishes, what you would like to know about me or my gear? Please do not hesitate to ask! I will include it in my posts.

Disclaimer: I bought every piece of gear with my own money and also never received any money to write about them, the opinions are entirely my own.
