Charlotte, Button and I are finally on the road again. And even though Charlotte feels so heavy fully loaded and I am out of training it was nice to start a new tour. Today I only planned to get to Denmark, so it does not really count as a first day.

I used the morning to pack everything. My Boyfriend an I spend the last days in his hometown visiting old friends and on the way back we took a detour so he could drop me off at the ferry-terminal in Rostock. We made it there in time, but the man who sold me the tickets said I needed to hurry, so we got Charlotte off the car and loaded her up in record time.

Then it was time to say goodbye and cycle to the ferry:

When I found the right lane for bicyclists and motorbikes a little later the waiting started, the rushing really had not been neccessary.

10 minutes late we finally left the harbour. 2 hours later we reached Denmark, where I had booked a place for the tent at a shelter plads.

There are 4 more tents here and one family in a shelter. It is one of the cheap places to stay Denmark offers to hikers and bikers. So I will see how it goes. Tomorrow I will revisit a campground at which I stayed last year. 😉
