Charlotte, Button and I are finally on the road again. We are cycling the Naturlandet Rundt. It is an 8 around the Danish Islands Lolland and Falster. Yesterday we travelled to Gedser on Falster by Ferry, you can read about it here.

I slept pretty ok, for the first night in a tent and sleeping bag. My new sleeping pad worked well.

I stood up before 8am, just to notice that the solo bicycle tourist already had packed up and left. No wonder he went to sleep around 8 pm the night before. Then it was time for breakfast:

Packing worked fine and for once I managed to leave the campground at 10 am as planned. Just to do a quick stop just a few km later to take a picture of the building and the view… including a ferry (hiding behind the watermark). 😉

Most of the tour is pretty well marked, but when I reached this forrest there were no more signs, so I was pretty relieved when we reached the other side. Here we took our first break:

After 12.4 km in 1:03 h with an average speed of 11.8 km/h.

Only 30 minutes l took another break at Marielyst in one of the chairs they have in their shopping street. I sat almost in the same spot last year. You can read about it here.

18.7km in 1:33 h with an average speed of 12 km/h. Since my destination for today was not that far away anymore I stayed for more than an hour at the comfy place.

Now it got really uncomfortable fighting with the wind until I reached the campground for the night. I stayed here last year as well and they even gave me the exact same spot to pitch my tent. They even have a bathroom for dogs:
