TailorFairy History: winter hats

Moin

Another one of my most-read posts of 2012 is the tutorial for 2 winter hats I made based on an old hat I owned. Somebody pinned it to an often seen Pinterest wall, and people clicked on it. I was pretty surprised. 🙂 So thank you, unknown person!

I wore the brown one until last winter, that’s when it really started to look worn, and the knit kept building small knots… So I switched to the yellow one, which I still own and probably use again next winter. At the moment we have over 30° Celsius outside, so its a little weird to think about winter. Since my mum gave me the orange knit hat I had on my bicycle tour with me, I am wearing it more than the yellow one. I am already thinking of copying it… sewing or knitting. 😉

Well, what do you think? Did you read that post when I first published it? Do you like my trip down memory lane?

Should I repost a revised version of the posts I will be talking about?

If you haven’t yet, please take a minute and vote for what you would like to read about when I am on my next (bicycle) adventure. No sign up/in required! I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

keep sewing and smiling
