Moin
This week I ordered my future touring bicycle, tested out some camera mounts and the camera in general and my Aftershokz air bone-conduction headphones, and cycled to Lübeck and back on consecutive days.
(This is a weekly blogging series, started before I did my first weeklong bicycle tour around the little belt on the Danish Baltic Sea Bicycle Route. Now I want to do the whole Bicycle Route next year, and for that, I do some shorter tours to stay in training, study Danish, do other sports, sew some things, plan, map, buy, and worry. And blog about that every Sunday… it is an adventure already.)
My most exciting news this week is that I will get my bamboo touring bicycle in 4-6 weeks! 🙂 I can not wait 🙂 I already planned to cycle the 80 km back home with it.
Then I also did the Lübeck tour this weekend, even though I had only Saturday and Sunday, so I cycled one day there, had a lovely evening with my aunt and uncle, and a nice breakfast before I cycle back today. That was the first time cycling two days in a row such a distance since my tour last summer… and it was hard, but I still made both trips in a decent time, so I am proud of myself.
I already told you that testing out my camera and its mounts were not as easy yesterday, but I learned some things, and I think I did better today. Now I have to review hours of footage and see if I can turn it into an interesting clip for you. Since we are talking about videos, I still do not know what to name my youtube channel. If you do have an idea, please let me know!
I also tested out my Aftershokz AIR bone-conduction headphones those two days, and they worked great, even though I had some light pressure because my winter helmet covers the ears, but it was not too uncomfortable but delightful to cycle with music.
My other weekly preparation:
I studied no Danish,
did 3 mornings with 4 yoga-flows,
3 evenings training feet + stretch,
did 2 functional fitness for cyclists workout,
went to the gym 0 times
and cycled 162.38 km in 10:43:01 h with Leif.
keep exploring and smiling
your Fairy
