This was so much fun! I was chuckling almost the whole time sewing it. And after I finished it. It looks so much better than I imagined. 🙂
As I told you before I had some more of the excellent fleece fabric from Spoonflower, I used for my new bicycle sweater. When I was on my bicycle tour in June I had one rainy day and bicycle helmets have holes, so I knotted a microfiber-towel on top of my helmet, so it would not drop on my head and around that much. And I really liked that solution, even though it looked bizarre, so I thought about sewing a hat for my helmet out of a towel, but then I had that lovely fleece…
Well, now I am hoping for rainy days to test out my new helmet-hat (and my waterproof socks).
