adventure preparation 3

this is a weekly post series about me preparing for a bicycle tour. If you want to read from the beginning and didn’t already do so, you can still find the posts here: no.1  and no.2.

Today I want to show you some of the new things I bought and collected for my trip (in the last week):

As a teenager, I once went on a kayak trip and bought this big red Ortlieb-Drybag for it. When my family visited me this weekend they brought it with them so I can use it again for my bike tour. The other 2 I bought new at Clas Ohlson.

those I bought at flying tiger of Copenhagen. I think they will come in handy for all those things you need and come in big bottles, like shampoo, lotion, soap…

I guess this goes without explanation 😉

actually, this one is tiny, I hope I will not need it, but if I have a breakdown/malfunction, I will probably happy I do.

a torch I can turn into a lamp by ThorFire.

a camping stove by Hikenture. I am not sure how I feel about cooking with gas and this stove, it actually scares me a little. It’s the easiest and cheapest way so I will have to deal with it. It fits in this small box, which I like.

and for eating my bamboo utensils (from Bambaw). I really do like bamboo as a material, I am not sure if its perfect for utensils, but I will definitely try it. I also like the bag it comes in.

Did you ever do a bicycle/hiking tour or went camping and have a favorite thing to take along? Any other tips?

What else would you like to read about my preparation?

keep exploring and smiling
