This is a weekly post series about me preparing for a bicycle tour. So all is looking well that I finally get to do my tour starting next week, after the thumb-related postponement. 🙂 Nonetheless is my thumb not yet 100%, so I decided to cut a corner of my planned tour and make it a little shorter, so I could do with less kilometer pedaled each day:

I still have to finish the sewing projects I told you about, and I bought some more dry bags at Tchibo this week:

And I tried if all my camping/sleeping stuff would fit in the big Ortlieb dry bag, just because it makes sense to me to keep tent, sleeping bag + pad, pillow, lights all in one place. Since you only need them at the same time once a day. Let’s see if I will stay with it this way.

 

I am really excited to have the opportunity to finally do this and am also very nervous about it. 😉 Of course, I will pack my splint and some other things just in case my thumb decides to get worse on tour, but I am hopeful something totally different will be good for it.
