Charlotte, Button and I are cycling the Danish Baltic Bicycle Route. (Day0, Day1, Day2, Day3, Day4, Day5, Day6, Day7, Day8, Day9, Day10, Day11)

In the morning I payed the lowest price for a campground yet and in the afternoon the highest. And I could not tell what makes this one so much better than the other. I actually like the other better, even before I knew the price.

Sleeping, breakfast, packing up, all worked fine. And after I payed I left the campground at 10.45 am. I tried to find a short way back to the route, but in the end I had to cycle back… That already messed up my plan for the day. Then, of course, there were no benches when I needed them, and after some weird ways and just small paths without any signs I gave up and just sat on the ground, when I found a sign and knew I was still going the right way.

Today it was and still is very humid and comparatively warm. So it wasn‘t the best cycling day.

We cycled up and down hills, through nice towns, until I found some benches on a parking lot and took a break. While I was sitting there, a danish man came by and asked about the tour and told me about a shelter. So when I left shortly after I totally forgot to take pictures.

Next we cycled through Næstved.

I am always happy, when I get out of the bigger towns. Often I just push through them, with all the traffic you have to see all signs at first glance and react fast. That stresses me. Because of that and a missing arrow I cycled into the wrong direction for a while. But luckily it felt wrong very soon. Then it was a few more up and downs until I reached the campground.

I mean it has some nice things. There is a building with kitchen, toilet and those right next to the tent-space and dogs are not allowed on it. But it is on the side of a hill, so even spaces are hard to find, or on the other side and for that far away from the building.

Earlier there was a short rain, after I had pitched the tent, but it has not cooled down a lot yet and its still very humid, we will see, what happens tonight or tomorrow.
