Charlotte, Button and I are cycling the Danish Baltic Bicycle Route. (Day0, Day1, Day2, Day3, Day4, Day5, Day6, Day7, Day8)

Today was a funny animals day and I met some nice humans as well.

It started with a hare hopping past me when I was eating breakfast.

Then the man of the swiss couple in a camper close to my tent came over to ask if I knew any campgrounds on Møn. Which I did not, since I only got there today, but I showed him my map, that shows where there is a campground.

After that I finished packing up and did my laundry. By the way just in case anyone was wondering what I do with the laundry while cycling:

We left the campground around 11 am. The way mostly went on gravel roads through the forest, so it should not surprise me, but 2 screws got loose: we lost the camera and Charlotte’s back mudguard started rattling again. So I I had to fix that up.

By the way, in german we say “someone has a loose screw” to say he is a little crazy. So I guess Charlotte, Button and I are a little crazy, with 2 loose screws…

Anyway, soon after we found a nice bench in the forest and took a break.

Later I could see the street I would have to cycle later, it is the one in the middle of the water in the distance

But to do so we first had to take another ferry. This one was so cute, I really liked it. In the harbour we had to wait for half an hour before the next trip.

That was fun, next came the scary part: I had to cycle 6km on a busy road on a small shoulder over a damm from Bogø to Møn. So 3 islands today 😉 I was so happy, when we finally turned away from this street. Shortly later, I saw this nice church.

and while cycling by it I saw this nice bench. And even though it was only a few km until the next campground, I took another break to calm down after the scary part.

Then I cycled on to the campground. I could have cycled some more km today, but the next campground was definitely to far away, so it was a shorter day today. But look at the view from the campground:

While pitching my tent I met some more animals:

and then another bicycle touring man came to the campground. We exchanged a few stories, maybe I was talking a little to much, I haven`t been talking much lately. 😉

Then I met another nice couple while washing my dishes. So I hope all the talking is enough for a few days 😉

We cycled today:

money spent:

none yet, since the campground office will be opening tomorrow morning.
