Charlotte, Button and I are cycling the Danish Baltic Bicycle Route. (Day0, Day1, Day2, Day3, Day4, Day5, Day6, Day7, Day8, Day9, Day10, Day11, Day12, Day13)

The short day today did not feel as short. Thanks to strong headwinds and lots of weather changes.

Last night it stormed and rained. But in the morning it was dry and sometimes the sun came through, so luckily I could pack up a dry tent.

Then I started cycling with a lot of hike-a-bike. The wind was just too strong and I still exhausted.

The clouds also traveled so fast, that one minute it was very dark and the next we had sunshine. I took a lot of breaks on top of hills.

The closer we got to Korsør the better we could see the bridge in the distance. First, it was way too far away for the cellphone camera…

Next, we cycled through Korsør, with a short stop at the supermarket.

I wanted to go to the train station to buy our tickets for tomorrow, so I would feel more relaxed. But at the train station, another female bicycle tourist was telling me about the stairs you have to get up into a train with a fully loaded bicycle. Now I am nervous. I mean it should not surprise me, the faster trains in Germany also have stairs, but I did not think about that before.

Then I cycled some km back to the campground right at the bridge.

The lady checking me in was nice enough to guess I would like a spot close to a toilet but sadly gave me one without grass and so stiff and sandy ground I had trouble getting the tent pegs into the ground. and I am not convinced they won’t get loose with the wind.

We cycled/walked today:
